China Society of Film and Television Technology

Founded in 1982, the China Society of Film and Television Technology (CFTT) is a national-level academic organization affiliated to the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST). The Society is committed to technological progress, standardization and talent cultivation in the fields of broadcasting, film and television, as well as network audiovisual, and has set up a number of professional committees covering the whole technological chain of image, sound, transmission and integrated media. It promotes exchanges and cooperation among industry, academia and research institutes through the establishment of industry science and technology awards and the organization of international symposiums, and serves as an important bridge connecting radio, television and science and technology workers across the country.
